Please read these terms carefully before using GRUTH. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by them.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GRUTH. If you do not agree, do not access or use the GRUTH platform.
GRUTH provides on-the-ground verification services in Kenya. We dispatch trained field inspectors to visit locations, collect photographic and video evidence, take GPS measurements, and prepare structured written reports delivered through a secure client dashboard.
GRUTH is an evidence and information service. Our reports reflect conditions observed at the time of inspection. We do not provide legal, architectural, engineering, or financial advice. Reports should not be used as a substitute for professional surveys or legal due diligence.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use GRUTH. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@gruth.ke if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of these Terms, without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform or other users.
When you submit a verification request, you confirm that you have lawful authority or a legitimate interest in the subject of the inspection. You agree to:
GRUTH reserves the right to decline any request that, in our reasonable judgement, would be unlawful, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.
Service fees are calculated and displayed at the time of request based on service type, county, and urgency. All fees are payable in advance in Kenyan Shillings (KES) via Paystack before an inspector is dispatched.
Refund policy
Fees are non-refundable once an inspector has been dispatched to site.
Unable to complete
A full refund is issued if we cannot complete an inspection through no fault of the client.
Pricing changes
GRUTH may update pricing at any time. Changes do not affect requests already paid.
Disputes
Payment disputes must be raised within 14 days of the invoice date.
Inspection reports are delivered within the timeframe confirmed at the time of request — typically 24–48 hours from the date of inspection. Where circumstances prevent on-time delivery, we will notify you and agree a revised schedule.
Reports and inspection evidence collected on your behalf are provided for your personal and business use only. You may share your own reports with advisors, family members, or institutions for lawful purposes. You may not:
GRUTH reports reflect conditions as observed by field inspectors at the time of inspection. We make no guarantees as to future conditions, third-party conduct, or outcomes of transactions made in reliance on our reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GRUTH's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our service is limited to the fees paid for the specific inspection giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, or speculative damages of any kind, including loss of profits or loss of a transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
In addition to the obligations in Section 3, you agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, referral to relevant authorities.
The GRUTH platform, brand, codebase, and all associated technology are the exclusive intellectual property of GRUTH. No licence to use our brand or technology is granted beyond what is necessary to access and use the service as intended.
Inspection reports and evidence collected on your behalf remain your property once delivered, subject to the usage restrictions in Section 5. You grant GRUTH a limited licence to host, display, and process this content solely for the purpose of delivering and maintaining your dashboard.
You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@gruth.ke. Upon account closure, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
GRUTH may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, if your account poses a security risk, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give reasonable notice except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom or a member state of the European Union, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your own jurisdiction, which these Terms do not limit.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued use of GRUTH after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
